Safe Bike Lanes
The current Minnetonka “bike lanes” are some of the worst in Minnesota.
Incredibly unsafe, no protection from cars, water grates that you have to ride around due to potholes around them.

Cars on the road drive so fast, scary for everyone.
If you look at Strava heatmaps you can see why Minnetonka is so important for cyclists in the cities!

Agree. I ride this road frequently in summer, and the debris from street sweeping and traffic, plus the potholes, frequently make it necessary for cyclists to ride in the car lane, which in turn makes drivers impatient/pass too closely. 28th is safer, but also rough, and it only goes part of the way to where I need to be. I look forward to a safety fix!
