Slow down cars, safer for pedestrians and cyclists

I want Minnetonka Boulevard to be designed for more than just cars: narrower lanes, raised cross walks, and curb extensions should be used to naturally slow down traffic. The bike lane should be easy to plow in the winter but more protected from cars. It can either be at street level (not up on the curb on either side and shared with the pedestrians like Hennepin Ave in downtown, or cedar lake road in SLP) or be a dedicated separated two way bike path like Bryant Ave.

Agree on the narrowing of lanes - the perceived, psychology of a narrower roadway forces people to slow down. I'm for it!
