My vision for Minnetonka Boulevard is…

a street where I'll actually walk when walking through my neighborhood, rather than one I actively avoid. I also look forward to significantly improved pedestrian crossings at major intersections (and maybe some more minor intersections).

Useful and attractive, without restricting owners

I would love to see wider sidewalks and trimmed trees to allow a better experience and feeling of safety when walking on this street, especially for my kids. Better intersections, especially at Texas and Louisiana that make it easy to see traffic and pedestrians from all angles is especially important. It would be great to make it more attractive as well, with better direct down lighting but I don't want owners on that street being forced to comply with any new visual regulations or deal with light polluyion, people first!

A street young people can cross

My vision for Minnetonka Blvd is a street that children of all ages (and their guardians) can feel safe crossing to get to the many schools along this corridor. (This section, specifically, includes HS, Aquila, and P.Hobart) Families should feel safe sending kids across M'tonka to these (and other) schools.
