Westonka Library closed, temporary holds pickup and return location open

Westonka Library closed July 5, 2025, for a new construction project. The project is expected to take around a year and a half to complete.

Temporary holds pickup and return location

All library materials on hold with a Westonka Library pickup location will now be available at Mound City Hall, located at 2415 Wilshire Blvd in Mound. The temporary location will be open when City Hall is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. City Hall is closed Saturday and Sunday.

To select a different pickup location, patrons can adjust their online account settings, connect with Ask Us online, call 612-543-KNOW (5669), or visit any Hennepin County library.

Don’t forget to check out your books!

Use the self-checkout machine located in the lobby of Mound City Hall to check out all library books before taking them home with you. If you need assistance, use the telephone next to the checkout machine to connect with the Ask Us team.
