Results from February application lottery

The tree removal and replacement program is accepting applications on Thursday, March 27 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A random lottery will be used to select 30 applicants for this round of tree removals out of the applications received. Notifications of application status will be sent via email on Wednesday, April 2.

On February 19 applications opened for 12 hours for the tree removal and replacement program. We received a total of 95 applications. After the applications period closed, a random number generator was used to select 30 applicants to complete the full application.

All applicants received an email on Monday, February 24 with application status and next steps.

The application will open next on Thursday, March 27 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Responses from program staff

Due to the overwhelming demand for this program, foresters are unable to respond to all messages received. Staff will prioritize responding to residents who have been selected to participate.
