Stop and Smell the Roses

My dream for Minnetonka Blvd is for a roadway lush with trees on either side, with traffic that drives by at a slower, more leisurely pace, and with a more neighborhood/community-centered feel.

It currently feels more like a slower alternative to Hwy 7, with cars racing through. It does not feel safe for pedestrians and bikers, and it is not safe for kids to cross, even at crosswalks (too many people are distracted/running lights/etc.) It is loud and not yet lush with greenery.
