Safer Streets

It would be amazing to have Minnetonka Blvd more walkable and for car traffic to be more centered around Highway 7. Stop signs, roundabouts, speed bumps, and a lower speed limit could help discourage more traffic and slow it down.

More EV charging infrastructure and bicycle safety

Every gas station should have a level 3 charging station with at a minimum of 4 chargers. Texa-Tonka should have a bigger charging station. Imagine the added business for the restaurants.Bicycle lanes wide enough to feel safe going both directions.Cars slowed down to 25 MPH.More green space.

A place for people

What I'd like to see along Minnetonka Boulevard is a thriving ecosystem of homes, businesses, people, and plants. What I would like to hear is birds tweeting, people chatting, and other signs of life happening; not the zooming cars, revving engines, and squealing brakes I'm listening to as I write from the Texas Tonka bus stop.What I'd like to smell is clean, exhaust free air.I'd like to feel safe and welcomed. A space designed for people first where humans are prioritized over the movement and storage of cars.
