Safe for ALL modes of traffic!

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve stopped to let a pedestrian cross only to have people behind me go around me, or gesture angrily about stopping, along with traffic in the opposite direction not stopping at all. I’d like to see more crosswalks and opportunities for pedestrians to cross safely. Additionally, kids from the high school cross Minnetonka before and after school, so I think that makes it even more important for safer crosswalks.
can you coordinate with Metro Transit to get more bus shelters, or at least benches? The buses are never on time and in the winter, people are waiting soooo long! Even on a decent day, I’m sure people would appreciate a place to sit to wait for a late bus. Additionally, pull offs for the buses would be great too.
the Texas/Minnetonka intersection is the worst. If you’re on Texas, the headlights from the cars on the other side of Texas are BLINDING. Additionally, on Texas on the south side of Minnetonka, there is only a straight/left turn lane and a right turn lane, which means people going straight often go around those waiting to turn left into the right turn only lane.
additionally, if someone (me!) is going the speed limit on Minnetonka, people get SOOOO ANGRY!! So, personally, I’d like to see more traffic calming measures, and even a lower speed limit.
