No more shoulders

The drivers on Minnetonka Blvd have lost the right to shoulder lanes in my opinion.

Any time a car stops to wait for clearance to take a left turn onto a side street, a parade of impatient drivers begin performing illegal right hand passes, one by one, turning what is intended to be a bike lane into their personal passing lane.

The bike lanes should be moved off street, as they have been on Cedar and phase one of the Minnetonka Blvd rebuild, and the road should be reconstructed without the ability for drivers to pass on the right.

Whether this takes the form of a three lane road with a turn lane, or just a two lane road without the space to perform these illegal passing moves - I’m fine with either.
