Nicollet Avenue pre-construction property owner outreach begins

Hennepin County is continuing to refine the design of Nicollet Avenue (County Road 52) between American Boulevard and East Old Shakopee Road (County Road 1) in Bloomington based on the community feedback gathered over the past year.

Over the next few months, we will send letters to property owners affected by the project about the easement acquisition process. This includes information on getting permission to use their property during construction, either temporarily or by acquiring it permanently. A county representative will also work with property owners to review how the project will impact them, review proposed temporary or permanent easements and determine compensation.
