Why is Hennepin County engaging community online?

This site gives you the opportunity to have your say on Hennepin County projects, programs and services when and where it’s convenient for you. It reduces barriers associated with traditional public engagement opportunities, such as public meetings, which can be time-consuming, inconvenient, and intimidating.


How do I participate on this site? 

You can submit your feedback via the engagement tools—such as surveys, discussion forums, polls, and maps—on current project pages. 

To participate for the first time, register on this site by completing the short sign-up form.

If you have previously registered, simply sign in to participate on the site.


Do I have to register?

While you can view this site without registering, most engagement opportunities do require you to register first, in order to:

  • Promote accountability
  • Notify you with updates
  • Help Hennepin County identify engagement gaps so we can better reach all communities we serve


Can I use this site anonymously?

Yes, you can view this site without registering. Even when you register and post comments, your anonymity is protected because you are identified by your chosen username.


What happens to my feedback?

Comments, questions, ideas and suggestions are collated and used by the relevant project teams to gain community insight and inform the development of strategies, programs and services.
