What we heard during engagement (April - July 2025)

Community engagement for the Dayton River Road safety improvements study took place in April and July 2025. During these events, the project team presented existing conditions along the corridor, gathered community feedback, and shared early design concepts for improvements between Vicksburg Lane and Colburn Street.

Key feedback we heard included:

• Concerns about safety for people walking, biking, and driving in the area
• Strong interest in improved trail connections and pedestrian access
• Desire for better comfort and accessibility throughout the corridor

As the study progresses, community input and technical analysis will guide the development of the final report for the study. Thank you to everyone who participated in the early engagement process. Stay tuned for updates as the study continues.
